Why we decided to build NVOY
Encountering the problem
Have you ever been stuck at work, not knowing where to even begin, because you don't know where or how you can access the information you need? There are so many apps, so many services, chats, channels, you name it! The challenge of creating an overview of it all is getting increasingly tougher and getting more complex by the day.
We recognised that many companies struggle to effectively manage their knowledge and data. Despite having access to vast amounts of information, businesses often face significant challenges when it comes to finding and utilising this information. In many cases, information is siloed, difficult to access, or not organised in a way that makes it easy to find what you're looking for.
A company can be rich in information, but that knowledge can easily become a burden rather than an asset when structured poorly. If no one knows where or how to find the company data, how can it be of use? It was these kinds of questions that got an idea growing.
Turning a burden into an asset
After working with several companies who all shared the same problem, we figured something had to be done about it. As an example, one company experienced challenges with optimising time spent on projects. According to their own estimation, making their data searchable should save them about 30 minutes of time per project. The company in question had about 10 000 unique projects a year, meaning that they would save about 5 000 worth of hours in total.
We observed companies like this, struggling with too much information spread across too many places, and their employees spending excessive time trying to locate it. The NVOY team identified an opportunity to address these challenges by creating a knowledge management platform.
By integrating apps and services into NVOY we can make all information searchable and structured, which is the first and most fundamental step towards a more organised way of managing information.
However, we wanted NVOY to give extra value to our clients. While our search is powerful and useful for the fundamental purpose, our vision was greater than that. Searching and finding are the big ones, but in between there is navigating results, finding the right files, and reviewing the information in question. To make this process as painless as possible, we have also included several more features in our product to guarantee a seamless search experience. That is why NVOY is also powered by advanced machine learning, fantastic previews, natural language processing, and more!
We decided to build NVOY to help companies fill in the gaps of their daily hunt for information. It is for all the workers who are forced into an idle state while waiting or searching for information, for all the senior workers who constantly guide others, and basically, anyone who forgot to name their file correctly. We are here for you.
